I published the “Cowboy & Calf” full page ad in the “Times Colonist” Thursday, May 21, 2003. It brought back many memories for Albertans who had lived through many traumatic experiences. I received dozens of calls from people deeply touched by the photo and its message.

I was right to support the Cattle Producers, when we had the B.S.E. outbreak in Canada.
